13/7/2007 - Seeker Photography.com named as new main sponsor of Wimborne Town FC

Seeker Photography.com are Wimborne Town's new main sponsor following the "Super Draw" at the Cuthbury Sports Bar.

Seeker Photography.com owner Steve Cook won the prestigious Magpies sponsorship deal after his ticket was drawn by first team player-manager Christer Warren.

Seeker Photography.com were one of 62 businesses to purchase the tickets, priced at £250, with the first prize being the main sponsorship package valued at £15,000.

Not only will the Seeker Photography.com's name be emblazoned on the Wimborne shirts, it will also be displayed on the matchday programme, the club website and advertised in the Sponsors Stand.

Cook, an avid football fan, was delighted to have secured the package.

"It's absolutely amazing and I'm still grinning from ear-to-ear," he said.

"Wimborne Town have a long history stretching back to 1878 and nice friendly, people are involved there. I have a season ticket for Manchester United, who like Wimborne, also date back to 1878. But I will try and watch the Magpies as often as possible. I will bring my 6-year-old son Noel and his 3-year-old sister Sadie to games. I am also a governor at Winchelsea School and I hope to bring some of their pupils as well."

Dorset Garden Supplies won the second prize, a sponsorship package valued at £6,000. Lift Enginners won the third prize package, woth £3,000. Bonus prizes were won by Morgan Hampton, PA Arnold and Finger Tap.
