VASE DRAW - MAGPIES SET TO TRAVEL


Wimborne Town travel to Toolstation Western League Larkhall Athletic in the 3rd round of the FA Trophy, scheduled for Saturday 6th December.

The Larks disposed of our Sydenhams League rivals Lymington Town in the last round

"Larkhall are doing well in their league and it will be a tough game away from home," said Magpies' boss Alex Browne.

"They haven't the best ground in the world and our work will be cut out. But we'll go into the game well prepared."

BROWNE PRAISE AS MAGPIES GO THROUGH
Alex Browne praised his Wimborne Town players as they won their first game under his charge and marched through to the 3rd round of the FA Vase with a 4-0 victory over Wootton Bassett Town.

"It was a good start to may managerial career. It was a very professional performance.

"Maybe it's because I'm a defender, but I'm delighted that we kept a clean sheet. I know we are very strong going forward but the players must have thought I was going over the top, preaching the virtues of a clean sheet before the game."

WALKER-HARRIS RED CARDED AS MAGPIES LOSE DERBY
Wimborne Town played much of this game with only ten men following the dismissal of goalkeeper Alan Walker-Harris as they went down 3-2 to local rivals Hamworthy United'
